I've been wanting to build this Headbot for the longest, but I had familiarize mtself with the whole BEAM concept, now that I have this is what I have come up (see pics, of course). This is based on Wilf Rigters' Solar Powered Smart Head (SPSH), only I was having trouble with the solar engine used in the SPSH so i made it a Battery Power Smart Head (BPSH), after bread boarding the SPSH (again) and experimneting I found that a 6 Volt solar panel works best so I will be working on an SPSH in the near future, using the same platform/frame you see here, for now, I hope you all enjoy it. Sorry, I can't seem to load a pic, I'll try next time or you could go here:

Hi Victor and welcome to Robotbuilder

The image posting problem (and solution) is documented here http://www.robotbuilder.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=963

Try to keep images reasonably small, say 400x300 pixles or less

Your circuit looks good. I have made a couple of HEADBOTS see http://www.robotbuilder.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1239

I found Mark Tilden's book very useful.
