Saturday, August 22, 2009 (GST) - Tech Fest

location: San Diego, California, Near I-15 and Aero Drive

Tech Fest is a quarterly event where electronics students get to design, construct and program electronics and robotics projects. The BOE-Bot (www.Parallax.com) and the 3pi robot (www.Pololu.com) competing in line following and line maze contests are often featured, but occasionally a completely new type of project is presented. Four times a year, San Diego, California students showcase their electronic and robotics projects.




Event includes: Maze Solving, Wall Following, Sumo, Time Trials, Drag Race for Senior, Junior and Schools.




ROBOtic'08 will include competitions for:

Maze Solvers: follow UK Micromouse rules
Wall followers: follow Wall Follower rules
All-comers Drag Race
mini-SUMO knockout (dependent on number of competitors)
