Two competitions: Robot Idol and Robot Blueprint. Robot Idol asks for robot builders to submit a photo and specification of their robot for the public to vote on. The winner receives £500 of credit across nominated online robot materials retailers. Robot Blueprint asks for all those people who dream of building a robot to write up their idea, maybe even draw an plan, and submit these for judging by a panel of experts. The winner will receive £250 of credit across nominated online robot materials retailers. The competition is open now and closes the end of January 2008. The National Space Centre in Leicester Uk is currently organising a large scale robots event on the weekend of the 17th and 18th May.
